“Jesus, take the wheel” is a song by Carrie Underwood that is included in her first album, “Some Hearts”. She is the winner of the American Idol contest, in its fourth season.

We can see in the music video, how the song tells us the story of a young mother with several problems. She can’t find the time to do what she wants, and maybe she isn’t sure of what she wants either. She also has troubles with the baby’s father, as we can see both of them arguing in the middle of the video. The title of the song, “Jesus, take the wheel”, refers when the woman’s car gets out of control and she asks Jesus to save her. However, this is clearly also a metaphor to her whole life, as she gives herself into the arms of Jesus for protection and guidance.
